Objectives:
The activation and integration of a specific group of representatives of local governments, organizations of employees and employers respectively, commercial chambers and other institutions to undertake activities and make dialogue platforms to intensify employment of those who remain unemployed or being threatened by unemployment, and undertake activities oriented towards creation of an effective employment policy within the Podlasie Region mainly consisting in:
-allowing young people looking for job a new beginning by education, training and professional practices which aim at an improved education system and providing pupils skills which allow them to adapt themselves to changes occurring in technology and economy,
-checking and using all possibilities of providing jobs on a local market (enterprise initiatives) by making a favoring climate for enterprise development,
-taking up initiatives shaping skills of adaptation responding to
technological changes and the ones occurring on the market
-showing possible solutions existing in EU countries and
implementing some of the solutions and possibilities in the
Podlasie Voivodship, and presenting the EU policy and
initiative concerning employment,
-integrating all entities operating on labour market, mainly local governments, social and educational institutions, to make long-term employment policy to fight against the long-lasting unemployment, to develop labour market, to increase qualifications and make the access to job easier for youths and to make chances to intensify women's professional activities. An important item of the activities of the mentioned entities in the range of employment policy will be looking for ways allowing employees to adjust themselves to changes in labour environment caused by the rapid technological development,
-making trainings using interactive methods engaging all participants, allowing the participants to start a dialogue and keeping the participants active not only during the training but also when it is finished. The problem solving method presented during the course of training to the participants might be helpful in the future in overcoming various barriers occurring in creating new initiatives and getting some proper groups of "allies" for achieving the objectives (showing: how to do is to break one of the dispiriting barriers).
